For Zimbabwe with love: Heritage Cup Round Two – Now with Double the Teams!

In May 2025, Zimbabwe Heritage Lacrosse proudly made its second appearance at the Heritage Cup, this time with both men’s and women’s teams taking the field. Sharing this historic moment, Ghana also competed, becoming the second African nation to participate in the tournament—an incredible testament to lacrosse’s growth across the continent.

Beyond the competition, our presence at the Heritage Cup served a greater purpose: to shine a spotlight on the development of lacrosse in Zimbabwe. Each game we played was not just about the score—it was about telling our story, inspiring others, and garnering the support needed to continue building this program.

Every pass, every goal, and every cheer from the sidelines echoed our mission: to grow the game we love and create opportunities for future generations.
